CROWN POINT | Ultimate Cub fan Ronnie "Woo Woo" Wickers brought his famous cheer to downtown Crown Point Monday.
After hearing that one of the decorated fiberglass bulldogs in the city's summer art exhibit had been decorated and named after him, Woo Woo had a friend bring him to Crown Point to check it out.
In his first time in the city he spent the morning meeting Mayor Dan Klein and being greeted by Cubs fans passing through the square.
"They were thinking about me," Woo Woo said of the bulldog's sponsor, Bret Bologna. "I'm a part of it. It's an honor, you know."
